"fuck you illy" -ivan again!

we would take a picture of ivan, to show you his major man whore-ness, but he's too dark. so, if we were to take his picture, all you would see is a black background!!

HIDUP MACHA!!

stressed beyond comprehension!

I remember a younger version of me. okay the term i should probably be using is a form5 version of me, used to think that college life was going to be awesome! free from sejarah, ekonomi asas, bahasa malaysia, pendidikan islam and yada yada yada. free from matching uniforms that make us look like clones!

i was wrong..

oh my blahdee god is college life stressful! imagine studying english in college, but it's at university level! studying poems like the wasteland, novels like the outsider and plays like hamlet!

imagine annotating all of them and writing lengthy essays!

apart from that, imagine having a fucked up math professor who tells you shit about what you have to do for your group project, annoys you to hand it in fast, tells you it looks okay and just when you're about to sit back and take a breather, he says this "it's wrong. you haven't done you qualitative data bla bla bla" and makes you redo everything! ANNNDDDD present a 77 slide presentation by next week!

puki lancau! and exams are in 2 weeks!

dear god,

please please please, freeze time just for a few hours for me to relax!

L

it's official. I've successfully obtained my much awaited license. Well, L for now. But still, that's a huge accomplishment considering the fact that convincing my mom to let her only child, her only glimmer of hope to take driving lessons. Swear, that's probably the hardest task ever!!

So here it is, the most beautiful-lest thing in the world. Again, for now ;)

we drove, nay, I drove all the way to Hulu Langat while she drove back to ampang.. Was tiring. But fun :) can't wait for Wednesday :)

the update SOMEONE forced me to do :)

okay okay. So I've finally mustered up enough energy and will to update this bloody thing.

First of, let's blog about talent night..

Shev and I performed "Disturbia" by Rihanna. Had immense support for Alyshia, Dhyna, Yaya, and her cousin, Jaja. Thanks guys :)

picture time :)

with dhyna, the self-proclaimed fat bitch.. ;)

anywaaaay, on saturday, took my cousins from Johor to Kids Sport, Great Eastern. And as per usual, Miss Alyshia tagged along..

Had so much fun running around the place, going down the slides and throwing plastic balls around the place. Although, at times, things got a bit too rough.. *ouch!*

My laptop's bluetooth is being a bitch, hence the fact that i can't upload the pictures and the fact that i'm currently begging my parents for a MacBook. pray for me k? :)

We ate at the chicken rice shop and went to Pet's Wonderland. Not Wonderpants, okay alyshia? ;) and ciao-ed.

and the post continuess......

We went back home and rested a bit and left for our house in Hulu Langat. Dad wants to get an ATV and buggy for the place :D

meet rocket.. :)

we're finally done. wooh! :D

The Playground

Looking out the window. The pin-drop silence that once again filled my gloomy room was shattered by the innocent laughter coming from the children running towards the playground. Running as fast they could, just so they would be one of the lucky few to ride on the swings. My mind was busy reminiscing; of a smaller and less corrupted me, running as fast as my little Nike Air’s could take me. The utter contentment of knowing that the vacant swing at the edge of the park was in fact, mine. Because I was first.

One might wonder. To what extent does this “haven” actually bring joy into these teeny-tiny souls? Time passes and it’s time to grow up. Time to smell the coffee. What happens then? How would they cope with the harsh reality that is life? Going through every trial and tribulation life keeps throwing at us. But that’s life, you know. To quote the great Forrest Gump, “life is like a box of chocolate. You’ll never know what you get until you open it”. The feeling’s indescribable. And no matter how much we fight it, we know it’s going to happen. It’s as if your whole world’s come crashing down on you. As clichĂ© and as dramatic as the idea may sound. I’ve been through it, we all have.

We tend to forget, as we get older, just how easy it was to satisfy our not-so-complicated needs. Just how little it took to put that charming smile on our faces. There was no such thing as backstabbing your friends just to please another back then. The idea itself seemed silly and down-right absurd. Everyone seemed so sincere when they were children. It’s almost hard to believe that we grow up and become the complete opposite. We start becoming these money-greedy, label dependant adults.

Now, when we’re all grown up, we hide behind our stethoscopes, typewriters and briefcases just to avoid the undeniably hurtful fact, we miss being children. With absolutely no care in the world. The only worry we had back then was “Who’s that boy playing on the swings?” “When’s it my turn?”. We may make a lot of money. Some more than others, but underneath all those business suits and white jackets, beats the heart of a child, dying to get out.

what is love?

A very special person in my life told me to blog about "love" as my first post as I was literally smashing my brains out to come up with an appropriate topic as my first post..

With that said, here's what I think about "love"..

I'm honestly a firm believer in the saying that the word "love" has become way way way too over-rated. Those four letter words get tossed around so often that one might start to doubt whether or not the person saying it to them really means it.

In my opinion, there are two sets of people in this world.

Side A, a set of people who only say those words when they truly mean it. When they feel they're mentally and emotionally (perhaps even physically) ready to endure what lies before them as soon as the words "i love you" escapes from their feeble mouths into the ears of their significant other.

Side B, on the other hand, depicts a set of people who just say those words at their own free will; not thinking of the outcome. These people, perhaps, are not in love with their significant other. On the contrary, they're simply in love with, let's face it, love itself.

So how can one really tell identify the difference? That's the sad part, right there. You can't. You can never be certain of whether or not it's pure love, or, pure lust. Which is a case that has become quite rampant in our current society.
